Sept. 24th: We received the terrible phone call that Jesse had stopped breathing while at his first full day of daycare. Although they were eventually able to get Jesse's heart beating again, and put him on life support - we were to find out he had been without oxygen for far too long and would not recover. The anguish and heartbreak.... We hoped for a miracle and never gave up, but Jesse's little body did. Life support was withdrawn and Jesse officially passed away on Sept. 28th.
