Dear Shauna and Russ, My heart is aching for you tonight as I sit here Monday night, October 1, 2007, saying a prayer for the both of you as you say your goodbyes to Jesse. You two are so special and I know that Jesse was your little miracle and that he was loved so much. I remember Russ had a nickname for him, something about a monkey, and when I was talking to Shauna the week before I could hear Jesse in the background squealing. Dad got so tickled when he called your home one day and Shauna told him you were at Babies R Us buying diapers. You two seemed so happy even before Jesse was born and I know he brought you many more happy moments. Please make sure that you continue to cherish the love that the two of you knew before Jesse came along as you will need each other even more in the days ahead.
